Once again into the fray

I've been on a hiatus from caring for this site. Partially because the tools at my disposal are a little...rough. But enough family emergencies have passed that I'm dancing to the new rhythm, and I think we can do this again.

I've joined Bluesky, which may need some setup here in my website-builder of choice. Additionally, I've started a small following there.

In November, I unintuitively took a hiatus - i'd burned out, and I needed the time to heal. Instead, I did woodworking and practiced that. I still have a rather large project to complete, letting me ease back into the intensity of writing.

I also just did an interview with a book-club leader, but the video equipment failed to record it, so we'll try again soon, maybe with more questions.

I'm looking forward to the holiday season, and as my religion says, "Happy Yule!" For everyone else, "Happy Christmas, Happy Hannakuh, Happy Kwanza, and Happy Holidays for all that I'm missing." May this winter treat you gently. Stay safe, everyone.
